Russian man arrested for photographing rail infrastructure in Świdnicy
Police in Świdnicy detained a 55-year-old Russian citizen suspected of working for a foreign intelligence service. The man photographed trains and rail infrastructure in Świdnicy; authorities found hundreds of thousands of files on his storage devices documenting various transport facilities — not only in Poland. A court ordered three months' detention. He faces charges under article 130 § 1 of the penal code for activity on behalf of a foreign intelligence service.
