Man attacks two Ukrainians with knife on Warsaw bus, then hides in forest
In mid-October, a 30-year-old man attacked two Ukrainian passengers with a knife on a municipal bus in Bielanki, Warsaw, dealing them multiple stab wounds, then fled. Police determined the man was hiding in a forest complex in Bielanki and detained him last weekend. He faces three charges including attempted grievous bodily harm motivated by national hatred and making threats against another person from August. The suspect will be tried as a repeat offender, having previously served time for a similar intentional crime.
