More Poles plan their own funerals in advance, buying graves while alive

An increasing number of Poles are purchasing gravestones and planning their own funerals in detail during their lifetime. Maria Zienkiewicz from the Funeral Center "Hades" in Łosice describes a 78-year-old man from Warsaw who mapped out every aspect of his funeral ceremony. Empty graves can wait for their owners for as long as 40 years.
