Becky Manawatu's debut in Polish: "Auē" about an orphaned boy from New Zealand

Publisher Bo.wiem has released the Polish translation of New Zealand writer Becky Manawatu's debut novel. "Auē" tells the story of an orphaned boy who goes to stay with relatives in the provinces, and his older brother managing alone in the big city. The book won New Zealand's major literary award, beating David Vann among others.
