Ukraine's Neptune missile destroys two Su-34s at airfield in Volgograd region
Ukraine's Armed Forces attacked Marynowka airfield in Volgograd region with a Neptune cruise missile, destroying two Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers. The export value of one such aircraft is approximately $50 million; since the invasion began, Russia has lost 43 of this aircraft type in total. An anonymous Russian Telegram channel reported that two soldiers were killed and at least two wounded during the strike—the military has not confirmed this. That same night, Russia claimed it shot down 1214 Ukrainian drones, forcing restrictions at Moscow airports.
