Ukrainian smuggled stolen Seat worth 500 zloty with nearly 2 percent blood alcohol
On October 29 at a temporary border control in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Border Guard officers detained a 52-year-old Ukrainian driving a Seat stolen days earlier in Germany. A damaged ignition and broken rear window raised suspicion; officers found original plates and documents in the trunk. The man claimed he was paid 500 zloty merely to bring the vehicle to Poland; a sobriety test showed nearly 2 percent blood alcohol.
