Searchers seeking 1939 September campaign relics find Scythian artifacts in Lublin region

Members of the 1st Infantry Regiment KOP Memorial Association from Lubyczy Królewska conducted legal searches for mementos from the September 1939 campaign. On terrain with no previously known archaeological site, they found a collection of bronze and copper objects. Preliminary assessment indicates the artifacts date to the late Bronze Age or early Iron Age and are linked to Scythian presence. Finds include three-sided arrowheads characteristic of Scythian culture.
