New Year's Eve accommodation in Zakopane ranges from 1,500 zł for an apartment to 84,000 zł per night for a 300-square-meter villa. Booking.com reports 97 percent occupancy around the year-end, though the Tatra Chamber of Commerce estimates actual occupancy at around 70 percent. The average price for sold accommodations is still below 800 zł per night, but is already 8–10 percent higher than last year. A week before New Year's Eve last year the average exceeded 1,500 zł — experts expect similar growth this season.
