Drunk 19-year-old crashes BMW into church fence in Chełm

On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday on Copernicus Street in Chełm, a 19-year-old BMW driver lost control and crashed into the fence of a church. A breathalyzer test showed over 0.1 percent alcohol — his passenger was also intoxicated. No one was injured, but the church fence was damaged. Once the teenager sobers up, charges will be filed; driving under the influence carries a penalty of up to 3 years in prison.
