Do students have November 2 off? The principal decides
All Saints' Day on November 2 is not a statutory day off from school, so formally students should attend classes. However, principals can use one of their allotted director's days — up to 8 in primary schools and up to 10 in secondary and technical schools — to extend the weekend from October 31 to November 2. Schools must announce whether November 2 is free by September 30. Even on a director's day, schools must organize educational and care activities for interested students.
