Złotowianka Foundation: Special bikes teach mobility, parents get respite
Angelika Leszczyńska, head of the Złotowianka foundation in Złotów and winner of the Wszechmocne award, describes how a local initiative grew into a nationwide organization supporting thousands of people with disabilities. Thanks to special therapeutic bikes, children who previously could not move independently have begun to run. The foundation also offers caregivers respite – breaks that parents often desperately need.
