Senate raises CIT to 22 percent, ends PIT threshold indexation

The Senate amended the tax bill: largest companies will pay 22 percent CIT instead of a lower rate, and PIT tax thresholds will no longer be indexed annually to inflation. A provision for a 17-percent flat rate on income exceeding 300,000 euro was also removed. The changes must now return to the Sejm.
