Hospital in Janów Lubelski faces 41 million zloty debt, implements recovery plan
The hospital in Janów Lubelski has accumulated 41 million zloty in debt — last year alone the deficit reached 7.5 million zloty, and in the first quarter of this year alone the facility posted a loss of 6.5 million zloty, including over 2 million zloty in unpaid NFZ claims. The Janów district administration together with hospital management is implementing a recovery plan, though some of its elements — including proposals for cleaning staff — have sparked controversy.
