Fire in Lublin: parents evacuated, son dies in burning apartment

A fire broke out Monday, October 26, after 6 p.m. in a block on Szmaragdowa Street in Lublin. Three people were in the burning apartment — two parents were evacuated, one of them in a wheelchair. Firefighters found the son's body on a bed in the completely burned room. Four firefighter units took part in the extinguishing operation; the cause of the fire is still being determined.
