Head of Lublin housing cooperative suspected of abuse of children
On Saturday, 24 October, two children — a 5-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl — fled their home on Jaskółcza Street in Lublin because their mother allegedly abused them. The children were crying, shoeless and in poor emotional condition. Police detained a 44-year-old woman, head of the "Felin" Housing Cooperative, suspected of yanking and twisting the children's arms. The children were placed in their father's care; the woman is to be charged soon.
