WWII mines and grenades found in Hrubieszów, residents evacuated

Last weekend, dangerous WWII-era items were discovered on a property in Hrubieszów: magnetic and transport mines, mine and grenade fuzes, and 74 pieces of explosive material. The area was immediately cordoned off and secured, with police guarding the site until a military bomb disposal team arrived. Sappers took the findings to a range for safe disposal.
