Canada and Europe plan alliance of middle powers against US dominance
Canada and European states are holding behind-the-scenes talks on creating a global alliance of middle powers to counterbalance US hegemony and protect against threats from President Trump. Canada's Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu assured that Canada wants to be a "reliable partner for Europe." Trump has already sharply criticized this idea.
