Crows process visual signals twice as fast as primates: Tübingen study

Scientists from the University of Tübingen discovered that crows process visual signals twice as fast as primates. In an experiment, two birds had to determine the direction of movement of a dot pattern on a screen — they needed only an average of 225 milliseconds. The results shed new light on the evolution of intelligence in birds.
