Courier finds cash in package, alerts police; 18-year-old fraudster arrested
A courier transporting a package from Białystok to Warsaw suspected fraud — upon checking the bag contents, she found stacks of money in zloty, dollars, and pounds. She alerted police, who arrested an 18-year-old on Żoliborz collecting the shipment. The victim was a senior from Białystok, whom scammers posing as police convinced that her grandson caused an accident involving a pregnant woman and money was needed.
