mRNA melanoma vaccine reduces recurrence risk by 42%

At the European Society for Medical Oncology congress in Madrid, Merck and Moderna presented results of a breakthrough study. The personalized mRNA vaccine called intismeran, given with the drug Keytruda, reduced risk of recurrence or death in melanoma patients by 42% compared to Keytruda alone.
