Tusk and Macron absent from Budapest's 1956 revolution anniversary
Prime Minister Donald Tusk and President Emmanuel Macron did not attend commemorations of the 70th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian revolution in Budapest, despite an invitation from Péter Magyar. Their absence was reportedly linked to diplomatic tensions and organizational delays. Both leaders' no-show sparked commentary on relations between Hungary and France and Poland.
