Wave of youth protests across 12 European countries: housing, education, cost of living

Between mid-September and 23 October, at least 177 protests took place across 12 European countries, according to an analysis by El País. Young demonstrators are demanding better access to education, cheaper housing and lower cost of living. The scale of protests reflects widespread discontent among a generation entering the job market and adult life.
