Norway, Britain and Lithuania to jointly buy up to 20 ocean-going vessels

Norway presented the P1118 programme calling for orders of up to 20 ocean-going vessels for the navies and coast guards of Norway, Britain and Lithuania based on shared design. The order will be split into two contracts to increase domestic industry involvement and reduce delays. Contract signing is planned for 2027, with delivery of the first unit expected in 2030.
