Senior citizen from Zielona Góra lost 290,000 zloty in investment fraud
Zielona Góra police received a report from a senior citizen who fell victim to investment fraud. Last September, the woman found an online ad featuring images of well-known Polish politicians encouraging investment. After depositing an initial 1,000 zloty and then 25,000 zloty, scammers pressured her for additional transfers over several months. She lost nearly 290,000 zloty in total.
