Trump authorized Pentagon to fund oil infrastructure from defense budget

President Donald Trump signed on October 22 an authorization allowing the Pentagon to use defense funds for expanding oil extraction infrastructure. This became possible by classifying oil infrastructure as essential to US national security. The decision opens the way for financing energy projects from the military budget.
