A British organization is recruiting staff for Port Lockroy base in Antarctica. Wages range from €1,700 to €2,500 monthly (roughly 11,000 zloty), but conditions are spartan: the island has no running water and bathing is possible only once a week. Still, there is no shortage of interested applicants.
