Trial begins for foster parents accused in death of 3-year-old Róża

Trial began Friday, October 23, at the District Court in Słupsk for Karolina G. and Arkadiusz G., foster parents accused of causing the death of 3-year-old Róża. The girl was hospitalized with extensive deep burns covering nearly 80 percent of her body and died. Investigation ruled out an accident — prosecutors determined the child was deliberately harmed by the caregivers who were meant to ensure her safety.
