Karkonosz National Park renovates 4.5 km of trails to protect wetlands

Karkonosz National Park, UNEP/GRID-Warsaw and Żabka Group joined forces to protect Karkonosz wetlands. The project involves renovation of over 4.5 km of tourist trails crossed by over 2.5 million visitors annually. The goal is to limit degradation of sensitive peatland ecosystems from mass tourism.
