Inmate from Czarne Prison Kangaroo-Cares for Newborn Daughter in Hospital
An inmate from the Czarne Correctional Facility in Pomeranian Voivodeship received permission to travel under guard to a hospital in Słupsk to kangaroo-care for his newborn daughter immediately after her birth. The facility's director, Lieutenant Colonel Ewa Bartkowska, said that in her 22 years of service, this is the first time she has encountered such a request. The inmate was previously married at the same facility, and the couple also underwent in vitro fertilization.
