Off-duty officer spots banned driver and stops him
Last Monday around 4:30 p.m., a criminal police officer heading home after his shift passed a VW Polo on a road in Zamość county driven by a 40-year-old man he knew. The officer was aware the man had a court-imposed driving ban—just days earlier he had filed charges against him for violating the same ban. Without hesitation, he turned around, gave chase, and called in officers from Zamość. The driver was stopped at a grocery store; he claimed he "only went out today."
