World's longest seafront promenade: 26 km on Lanzarote
Lanzarote is home to the world's longest seafront promenade — over 26 km from Puerto del Carmen through Playa Honda and Arrecife to Costa Teguise. Walking the entire route takes 5–6 hours across nearly flat terrain, passing golden beaches and dark volcanic rocks. In December temperatures reach around 21.8°C, so walks can be enjoyed year-round. The entire island has been a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 1993.
