WSJ: Putin ordered intensified sabotage across Europe after Leipzig attack
The Wall Street Journal reported, citing anonymous officials, that a high-ranking Russian official warned his German counterpart that a failed attack on a Ukrainian plane in Leipzig in August was not the last Russian operation in Europe. Putin allegedly ordered the escalation of sabotage activities personally, frustrated by the war in Ukraine and seeking to intimidate NATO countries. Russian sabotage has been recorded recently in Poland, Estonia, Bulgaria and Lithuania, including the burning of a Starlink station in Poland.
