Sejm passes rule-of-law act: 231 lawmakers vote to reassign neo-judges

The Sejm passed a rule-of-law act on Thursday that regulates the status of judges appointed under resolutions by the National Council of the Judiciary in 2018–2026. 231 lawmakers voted in favor. The act is to reassign so-called neo-judges to positions they held before their promotion, and now goes to the Senate.
