Parliament passes wage and work-time limits for doctors: max 240 zloty per hour
Parliament approved amendments to physician pay regulations — 229 MPs voted for, 144 against, 67 abstained. The maximum hourly rate will be approximately 240 zloty gross (1/20 of minimum wage), and monthly earnings across two jobs cannot exceed approximately 76.9 thousand zloty. Doctors must be employed at least half-time, and taking a second job requires their current employer's consent. The law also expands the NFZ's oversight powers.
