EU creates "military Schengen" for free troop movement

The European Union is preparing regulations to facilitate the movement of soldiers, equipment and supplies between member states. The initiative, called "military Schengen", is being developed with NATO in response to crisis and war scenarios. MEP Michał Szczerba stresses that current administrative barriers and differences in national regulations hamper rapid defensive response.
