A four-person family bathing daily in a tub uses approximately 150 liters of water per person, while a nine-minute shower uses about 81 liters. The monthly difference in water and sewage costs (at 15 zł/m³) is roughly 125 zł, or nearly 1,500 zł yearly. Water heating adds to this: a shower costs about 3 zł with electric heating, a bath about 5.50 zł.
