Majtczak sentenced to 8 years: court imposes maximum penalty for the year
The District Court in Piotrków Trybunalski sentenced Sebastian Majtczak to 8 years in prison for causing a crash on the A1 highway in which a family from Myszków died — Martyna, Patryk and their five-year-old son Oliwier — when his BMW was traveling at 319–325 km/h. The court also imposed a 15-year driving ban, 500,000 zł compensation for each of the plaintiffs, and 250,000 zł to the State Treasury.
