Culture Ministry wants higher book prices and e-book embargo period

The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage plans regulations that would raise book prices — for 100 zł you would buy two instead of the current three. The new rules would also restrict access to new releases on e-book and audiobook services for up to a year after release. In response, a campaign called "Don't raise book prices for Poles" was launched.
