Poland's public finance sector deficit reached 283 billion zloty, or 7.2% of GDP

The Central Statistical Office reported that the deficit of government and local government institutions in 2025 was 283,615 million zloty, representing 7.2% of GDP. Public debt reached 2,335,137 million zloty, or 59.6% of GDP. This marks a significant deterioration in Poland's public finances condition.
