Bishops to set conditions for abuse inquiry commission in Church

An independent expert commission will investigate child sexual abuse in Poland's Catholic Church. Before it begins work, bishops will establish the conditions for its operation. Key issues include access to church documents, freedom to publish findings, and the role of victims. International experience shows these conditions determine the credibility of the entire accountability process.
