Poland has Kyiv's promise that Lviv resolution on UPA will not be implemented
Lviv Regional Council declared 2027 the year of the UPA, Roman Shukhevych and Oleh Olzhych, drawing sharp criticism from Polish authorities and the IPN. Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Bosacki said Wednesday on TVN24 that associates of President Zelensky assured Poland the resolution will not be carried out. Bosacki called the Lviv authorities' decision "very bad and frankly provocative," adding: "we're holding them to their word."
