Nigeria confirms first Ebola case: patient arrived from Uganda

Nigeria has reported the first known case of Ebola hemorrhagic fever during an outbreak currently spreading across Africa, originating in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Health Minister Muhammad Ali Pate announced that the infected person is a woman who recently flew to the capital, Abuja, from Uganda. This is the first confirmed case in Nigeria during the current epidemic.
