Government proposes third PIT bracket from 2027: 24% on 130–150k zloty income

On 29 September, the Council of Ministers adopted a PIT reform project introducing a third tax bracket: 12% up to 130,000 zloty, 24% on amounts between 130,000 and 150,000 zloty, and 32% above that. The tax-free allowance remains at 30,000 zloty annually. Changes take effect 1 January 2027 and apply to wages, pensions and benefits. Maximum annual tax savings will be 3,600 zloty, or roughly 300 zloty monthly.
