TikTok ignored child safety alerts, court documents reveal

Released court documents show TikTok staff warned management for months about child safety threats on the platform, but executives took no action. "I've been fighting to fix this for months with people who don't think the harms are serious enough," wrote one manager. The documents were previously unknown to the public and emerged only through court proceedings.
