Russia builds stealth radar near Polish border, deploys warheads in Kaliningrad
About 35 km from the Polish border, near Gwardiejsk in Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia is building a massive radar complex consisting of three antennas with 500-meter arms. According to The Times, the radar can detect targets beyond the horizon at a range of 900–3000 km and recognize stealth aircraft. The British newspaper also reveals that Polish and Lithuanian government sources confirm Russia has begun deploying thermonuclear warheads in Kaliningrad — a hundred warhead-equipped missiles are stored in the region's infrastructure.
