Remains of Kerstin Lee Langley found in Bavaria after 19 years
In October investigators found six human bones in a wooded area in Kadenzhofen, Bavaria — likely belonging to Kerstin Lee Langley, missing in Germany. A breakthrough came in August when a 56-year-old woman, the former wife of one of the suspects, voluntarily went to police with detailed testimony. According to prosecutors, three suspects jointly planned the murder of 39-year-old Kerstin in Regensburg; 66-year-old Klaus Z. is in custody on suspicion of complicity, and the third suspect — the victim's former partner — died.
