Pentagon plans AI system for cyberattacks on US adversaries

Disclosed documents describe a military plan to create an autonomous artificial intelligence agent called ECHOTRIBBLE to conduct cyberattacks against US adversaries. The project remains at the conceptual stage and has not yet been implemented. The tool would operate autonomously as an AI agent capable of hacking systems hostile to the US.
