Court in Sosnowiec convicted Piotr B. of murdering his wife's 87-year-old grandmother

The trial of Piotr B. (42) before the Regional Court in Sosnowiec has concluded. He was accused of murdering an 87-year-old resident of Dąbrowa Górnicza — his wife's grandmother. Investigators say the man was seeking money for gambling. The prosecution demanded life imprisonment. Just before the verdict, the defendant declared: "I didn't do it," while the victims' representative said: "200, 300 zlotys — for such a sum someone can be killed."
