Tatra Mountains crowded despite late October

The last weekend of October brought exceptionally good weather to southern Poland, drawing crowds of tourists to the Tatras. Parking areas near popular trails filled to capacity, and Krupówki and Gubałówka saw an onslaught comparable to summer peak season. The fine weather surprised even tourism organizers.
