Driver high on drugs kills 22-year-old woman in Syrnia, arrested
A crash occurred on 13 October in Syrnia in Wodzisław County: a 26-year-old driving an Opel ignored a STOP sign and drove into an intersection, colliding with a Toyota. A 22-year-old female passenger in the Opel died at the scene. Toxicology tests confirmed the presence of drugs in the driver's system at a concentration corresponding to intoxication. The court arrested the man for three months; he faces 5 to 20 years in prison.
